She draws on a number of therapy tools and approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness.
Kim has experience working with survivors of trauma (PTSD), assault, and abuse; and clients with mood and psychiatric disorders; personality disorders; self-harm behavior; social and other anxiety; depression; grief/loss; troubled personal or work relationships; and dealing with difficult life transitions.
