As a therapist, Beth is patient, a good listener, flexible, works to get to the bottom of problems and demonstrates loving. she utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including principles from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Each therapy plan consists of your goals and the techniques that will help you achieve them.
She has an extensive background in the social services, including work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, crime victims, and adults living with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. She has experience working with adults, couples, families and adolescents.
