I have experience working with adults and children in inpatient, outpatient, residential, correctional, and forensic settings. I enjoy working with both individuals and groups and I also have expertise in psychological assessments.

I am well trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have been using this approach for treating individuals with borderline personality disorder and high-risk behaviors for over thirteen years. I have found working with this approach and this population incredibly rewarding. I am a DBT consultant and trainer for a number of state agencies. I am also trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy for the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and am passionate about helping individuals regain fulfilling lives after experiencing significant trauma. Furthermore, I have training and experience with therapeutic assessment and use this approach to help individuals understand themselves, their strengths, and their challenges more completely.

I am a licensed, forensic psychologist specializing in assessment and treatment of justice involving individuals as well as those engaging in high-risk behaviors in the community. I have experience working with individuals with problematic sexual interests. I complete risk assessments related to interpersonal violence, violence towards others and sexual violence. Additionally, I provide both group and individual using the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model and targeting both criminogenic needs as well as responsivity factors interfering with a client’s ability to meaningfully receive benefit from treatment. Her clinical background and experience focused on working with children and adolescents who had experienced traumatic events and this is where her passion lies: helping individuals of all ages navigate the aftermath of their life turned upside down. 

Brittany’s other passion is supporting parents. Families have had to deal with so much lately. Parenting without a pandemic is challenging enough and with continuous changes, many parents are questioning what to do about (just fill in the blank with anything!) 

Her therapy style for children and adults alike combines an attachment-based, collaborative approach, which is highly personalized to best explore and meet the needs of each individual client.
