Specialty Services

I am a licensed therapist that draws upon the unique strengths of each individual as we work together to identify realistic solutions to challenges. This approach is effective with children/adolescents age 13 and older; and adults and elders either individually, or as couples or families. I believe that the client is the expert on their life situation.  I count it a privilege to assist people with issues that interfere with living to their full capacity and wholeness.

I utilize evidence based modalities in my therapeutic approach- often Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed, or a variant of this, such as Dialectical Behavior therapy (DBT) skills, or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)-“tapping”.  EFT is particularly useful in the treatment of trauma, chronic pain, habit disorders and depression or anxiety.
