The Pauquette Center is pleased to be able to offer psychotherapy and addiction recovery services to Deaf persons and their families. Renee Vanden Heuvel, LPC-IT, SAC-IT, is fluent in American Sign Language, such that sessions can be conducted without the services of an interpreter. Please call the Baraboo office at 608-356-9055 to determine if your health insurance company covers Renee's services, and to schedule an appointment.
Any information that a client might disclose to his or her therapist is confidential and can not be released without the client's permission, except as required by law (Wisconsin state law requires disclosure of information to appropriate agencies in matters of child abuse or in matters of personal danger). Similarly, all clinic records are confidential.
If you are experiencing a life-or-death mental health emergency, please call 911 immediately. The emergency room can contact our offices once the immediate danger has passed.
If you are in a situation that requires the immediate services of a Pauquette therapist, you may call our emergency phone number: (608) 477-3183. This number is for current client use only, and for emergency use only. Do NOT use this number for questions regarding appointments or billing. You may be charged a fee for inappropriate use of the emergency phone number.
Your appointment time is held specifically for you. If you must cancel or change your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance (clinic phone numbers). If you must cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you may be charged a fee (such fees are not covered by insurance).
A fee for service is charged based on the length and type of appointment with a therapist. The Pauquette Center accepts Dean Health Plan, Physicians Plus, Unity, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Medical Assistance and most major health insurance plans. Wisconsin state law requires most health plans to pay the major portion of the costs of mental health and alcohol and drug abuse services. Co-pays for services are due at the time of the service.
To meet financial obligations not covered by health insurance, clients can make installment payments, if prior arrangements are made.
