MOOD AND EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS

Emotions and moods are facts of life. Day to day life can be overwhelming, leaving you with little energy and in a bad mood. It can be hard to know if what you are experiencing is the usual drain from a busy day to day or if it is a more serious emotional problem. That is because you don’t need to have extreme emotions to have mood or emotional problems. Either way, psychotherapy can be a place for individuals to get help recognizing the causes and being mindful in how to better manage their emotions and moods.

TREATING MOOD AND EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS

Psychotherapy is a treatment where we work with clients on understanding and controlling their mood and emotions. Treatment referrals often indicate these areas as important concerns to be addressed. Psychotherapy is a safe place to explore emotional challenges and to learn skills collaboratively with a therapist, such as mindfulness. Licensed clinicians at the Pauquette Center often work with their clients on learning mindfulness as well as many other helpful tools that teach individuals how to create a stable mood and bring a new sense of understanding to their emotional experiences.

If you think you may have an emotional problem, or just feel you might benefit from receiving treatment contact the Pauquette Center. We have multiple locations throughout Wisconsin to help make seeing us easier.
