ATTENTION DEFICIT AND HYPERATIVITY
ASSESSMENT
Inattention, impulsivity, and/or hyperactivity are all possible symptoms of attention deficit and hyperactivity. There is no single test for diagnosing ADHD. That is why the Pauquette Center provides comprehensive assessments for people of all ages experiencing difficulties with inattention, impulsivity, and/or hyperactivity which may be due to ADHD or another condition. Families are then provided feedback regarding the test results, which includes treatment referrals.
TREATMENT
Once your assessment has been completed treatment can start to begin. Multiple Pauquette clinicians have expertise in working with children and adults who have ADHD and implement evidence-based treatments for this particular mental health concern, including teaching self-regulation, mindfulness, and behavior management strategies. Pauquette also has nurse prescribers on staff who are able to provide psychotropic therapy for those having difficulty managing symptoms of ADHD.
