Brittany Hayes is a Licensed Professional Counselor working at Pauquette Center’s Baraboo and Sauk offices. Her approach involves even the youngest of clients in learning, growing, and healing through a number of life difficulties. Her clinical background and experience focused on working with children and adolescents who had experienced traumatic events and this is where her passion lies: helping individuals of all ages navigate the aftermath of their life turned upside down.

Brittany’s other passion is supporting parents. Families have had to deal with so much lately. Parenting without a pandemic is challenging enough and with continuous changes, many parents are questioning what to do about (just fill in the blank with anything!)

Her therapy style for children and adults alike combines an attachment-based, collaborative approach, which is highly personalized to best explore and meet the needs of each individual client. She works to build a trusting relationship with her clients which tends to look a little different for everyone. Brittany will meet you where you are at with patience and compassion.

I have experience in inpatient and residential therapeutic settings treating concerns including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, substance use, mood and personality disorders, and crisis management, and I am excited to begin providing outpatient services with more emphasis on emotional processing. I feel fortunate to be able to provide clients with a safe and nonjudgmental space to share and find coping strategies for their mental health concerns.
